Today’s Betting Notes
Thursday, July 23, 2026
Rough start to the Del Mar meet, but that is because prices galore are raining down. There have been plenty of two-out-of-three scenarios, and some of the price winners have been difficult to identify except for one important point: class is prevailing.
The winning tickets have not paid yet, but they are coming. There are eight races on today’s card.
First-weekend observation: Ride the streaks! Jockeys and trainers have been winning in bunches. If a jockey gets hot early in the card, be prepared to adjust your plays later in the day.
