Every punter and their mom will be singling Arrogate in the late Pick 4 today and if he wins even with the large fields surrounding this race the payoff will likely be on the small end. I, as always, find it impossible to single anything Arrogate’s jockey rides with his tendency to run second on monster favorites. If that were not enough of a reason this race is clearly a prep for the $12m race later this month and Baffert is cold to start the meet so some insurance is a must for me here!

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.
When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
