It was another heartbreaker on Monday with a 50-1 shot beating us on the line and yet again causing us a three out of four day on the Pick 4. That’s two days in a row we got knocked out in the 1st race by a 50-1 horse! We even had our single in the downhill course in the last race romp to victory!
In the 1st leg we have #2 Tigah who won nicely in his last race at $45k and now drops back down to $32k, a level he won at in October. We have been knocked out in the first race the last two days making me hesitant to single here. Tigah is a clear single but I am also going to throw in the highest priced horse in the field because this is a CHEAP ticket and you just never know – lightening may strike for the 3rd day in a row. #8 Badasmywifeletsmebe did win at this distance a month ago. If the favorite misfires we’ve got a longshot play with a name that is apt for a handicappers lifestyle!
In race #6 there are two horses I like, the #5 My Sweet Addiction (we could argue horseracing is ours!) and the #7 Taste Like Candy. Candy love this course finishing 1st or 2nd 5 of 7. Candy is also dropping after finishing second behind Warrens Veneda who won the Grade II here last month. Addiction is also moving down in class today after finishing 6th in her last, the first race we was not in the top three. This is a droppers track this season and one of these two should get their photo taken today!
In race #7 a sharp recent work, a win in his last after a second before that stamps the #7 Gab Power as a good choice in here. #1 Buymeabond from hot tandem Hollendorfer/Nakatani is the morning line favorite despite running poorly in his last. He had an outside post in that race and moves back in today. The inside post is winning 23% at this distance. For you Superfecta betters the #5 Ice Cream Truck loves to finish 4th.
In the final race #5 Faith Proof is a must use despite misfiring in her last. Before that race she has won 4 straight. Tyler Baze hops back on today. He is 3 for 3 with Faith. She also shortens up today and should wire this field.
Today’s bet will cost $4. It will either be a low paying pick 4 today or a IRS form one. This is a ticket you can hit a few times to load up!
