We got knocked out in the 1st leg yesterday when interference all over the place knocked our single out of contention. Dumont all but got mugged by the horses that finished in front going into the final turn but the stewards decided no change was needed and that is all she wrote! The ticket was small though! In the late Pick4  we ran 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the 1st leg as My Fiona, whom I have bet every race in the last year or so and got naught, decided today was the day to run out and win.

The Pick 5 today ends on the Hillside course and the Pick 4 ends with a maiden claiming made up of so-so horses who ran at Los Al last month and with its weird configuration you can’t tell if they were bad or good!

Pick 4 “I need a Single” is in race 6 Mimis Boy, ran second in September and then third last out against our other choice in here Big Bad John but I prefer this one on top, trainer is 28% beaten fav

In the Pick 5 today I am singling in the 1st leg and going 4 deep in the last leg. I have also included an extra horse in leg 1 if you desire more coverage

Best Bets: The early double looks very interesting again today as long as our top choice does not get mugged again

Longshots of the Day: Win/place bets on these

Today’s Late Pick 4 will cost $24 with horses listed in preference

Races 1-5 selections and also for $24 Pick 5, exacta and trifecta boxes

Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.

“The grace of God is found between the saddle and the ground.”
