We could not have handicapped that 1st leg yesterday any better. That 1st leg as I noted was won by a favorite only once before making the race an ALL candidate. On one ticket we did ALL and on another we did three horses, INCLUDING the 17-1 winner! Boom both tickets hit! That was it for our fun though as our 7-1 pick in the second leg got bobbed on the line and a Pick 6 carryover shortly followed. That was tough yesterday. It’s one thing to nail the longshot on an all ticket but to select it straight up and not get paid – that hurt. New day today so let’s see if we can find some more diamonds in the rough and get paid this time! The fields today are surprisingly small but we start on the Hillside! I’ll tell you tomorrow if that is a good thing!

Almost half the time a price horse wins this 1st leg and there is a very untrustworthy favorite in #4 Alamo who has put in a couple of bullet workouts. A couple of ideas for today. I like a single in the middle two legs so for some potential carnage ALL in the 1st and last legs with singles.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
