Congratulations to Exaggerator on the win yesterday which we called as well as the trifecta that returned a very nice price with Cherry Wine running second! Today’s Pick 4 sequence looks good so we are spending a little more cash on the ticket.

Race 8: Lady Wedge

Race 8: I am going three deep in this leg today and putting #10 Stellata on top. She ran second at this level last month from a pretty strong race where three horses who finished behind returned to win. For a price I am looking at #4 lady Wedge and we get a very nice 12-1 morning line price. She is dropping to the bottom today and owns a win, place and show from her last 5 starts and there are no world beaters in this race. #6 Sparkling Peg ran third last out off a 9 month break. That was 16 days ago and she tired late in that last race so hopefully she has built up some stamina for today.

Today’s Late Pick 4 will cost $40.50 with horses listed in preference.

 For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas. When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
