Santa Anita 01-13-2017 Free Plays

What a nice day Sunday as we almost swept the card running 2nd with an odds on horse to lose the Pick 5 and winning a modest Pick 4. My Double of the Day paid nicely too and in the last race our trifecta came in paying more than the Pick 4 for a $1 bet! Nice! Lets see what we can do today but keep in mind the weather is again a factor!

Racing was cancelled yesterday and what a shame as we had another nice daily double set up. How sloppy will the track be today with the card cancelled yesterday? There are two races today scheduled for the Hillside course which I think will be unlikely so I am going to handicap for dirt. My sequences are on the low end today and in the races with singles I am going to be looking at rolling doubles and pick 3’s and using those singles to key some trifectas with some price horses.

For this 56 day meet I have some new options – the full meet is 60% off right now. You also have the choice of a monthly rate for 40% off. Click the link below to chose the plan that best suits you!

Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
