Well the bombs continue to fall this time at Los Al as the early Pick 5 paid a big $7k for 50c. We ran 1-2-3 in the 1st leg of the Pick 4 but our single in the second leg was all over the place in the stretch and ran second. Our two singles yesterday in each leg did us in but at Los Al you have to make a stand or the tickets get crazy in price and as you saw yesterday crazy bombs can drop! We still ended up with 3 of 4 but the payout was $105 only which is yet another reason to keep the tickets on the low end here. Horses just off the pace are winning after day one and Elliot is off to a hot meet – pay attention as this track gets hot for 1-2 jockeys usually!

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
