Closing Day and we have another great loaded card with 10 races. 6 of those races are full turf fields with 4 short field dirt races. This card should pay today with prices. Cedillo is tied with Van Dyke at 12 wins for the jockey title. Prat is 4 behind with 6 mounts today. Cedillo has 6 and Van Dyke has 5. Races 1,3,7 are great betting races and should offer nice prices in exotics. Next up is Los Al on Friday then back to Santa Anita on December 26th. Thank you for stopping by and reading my analysis for the meet.

Value Plays of the Day:

Race 9: Freiburg has won 3 in a row up North and is 1st off the claim for Glatt who is 24%. Cedillo rides and he is 27% for trainer. 56% of this race is won by horses over 5-1 with 43% 5-1 to 10-1!

.Today’s Race 7 Late Pick 4 will cost $18 with horses listed in preference

Race 7: 11,5

Race 8: 4,6

Race 9: 8,2,11

Race 10: 7,5,8

Typos happen and I do my best not to make them. Always read through my writeups to make sure the posted numbers are correct. I list Pick 4, Pick 5 selections and also a listing of all plays for each race. If there are any differences, please let me know.

*Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
