Last day of the Fall Meet and we have 10 races and a noon 1st post. Thank you for reading my plays. My top value play of the meet races today!
LA Times/Union Tribune Value Play:
Race 3: Airman gets the 1st time Umberto Rispoli betting angle for today’s race. This is the 2nd start for this horse on turf after what can only be described as a bad debut ride. Stuck in Tijuana for most of the race Airman made a late rally and galloped out past the winner after the finish line. Trainer John Sherrifs wins 40% 2nd time grass and 29% 2nd time routing. This small stable excels in races like today. Airman has as much speed as the top choices and a nice 8-1 value. Thank you for reading my value plays here during the Fall Meet.
Value Plays for Today:
Race 9: Maxim Rate has won 3 of 4 and those 3 where under Rispoli.
Today’s Race 7 50 cent Late Pick 4 will cost $48 with horses listed in preference
Race 7: 10,6,9,1
Race 8: 7,4,11
Race 9: 6,2,3,9
Race 10: 9,2 (4)*
Typos happen and I do my best not to make them. Always read through my writeups to make sure the posted numbers are correct. I list Pick 4, Pick 5 selections and also a listing of all plays for each race. If there are any differences, please let me know.
*Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.
For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.
When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
