Del Mar 11-11-2016 Free Plays

This summer at Del Mar was fantastic as we nailed many Pick 4 and Pick 5’s and some huge longshots. How will this meet play out? Longshots will come as always. The Fall meet is not summer vacation for many but with the Breeders Cup here next year the allure of Del Mar wins may be higher than normal for this time of the year so we could see the same kind of profitable longshot carnage again! I will be focusing on locating those longshots again! The next couple of days should give us an idea if Del Mar will be form-full or bomb central again!

Del Mar is where the big prices usually hit and where our biggest wins have come!

Pick 4 “I need a Single” in race 8 is Sobradora who is dropping in class after poor finishes in a G1 and G2. She won her US debut here at Del Mar in a stakes race in August

In the Pick 5 in race 2 Enduring Erin has 3 wins and a second from 5 starts at Del Mar could be a potential single with Prat riding but Desert Madam is also in this race and had won 3 in a row including the last 2 at Del Mar before losing by a nose last out longer. We hit the opening day Pick 5 in the summer meet so I am spending the fill allotment of $54 today to go for it!

Today’s Late Pick 4 will cost $45 with horses listed in preference.

8,1,5 (7)

Races 1-5 selections and also for $36 Pick 5, exacta and trifecta boxes

4,2 (3)

Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
