A horse with no speed, who had not raced in 90+ days for a trainer and a jockey doing poorly at Del Mar ran down our single in the night cap to give us another 3 out of 4 on the Pick 4. Some positives from yesterday were that the ticket was only $9, we bet against the bad favorite Pat The Bear and won, we are nailing 3 out of 4 on a regular basis now with cheap tickets and we had a great shot yet again in the final leg. Also, we could have done 8 horses in that last race, spent big bucks on it and still not had the winner. This is how the form is at Del Mar and why the bets are smaller.
The Pick 5 has become damn near impossible to even get a sniff of at Del Mar so the focus I am taking is on Pick 3’s and superfecta boxes if they present themselves. With 3 legged, no form horses continuing to win at a regular basis at Del Mar superfecta boxes may offer the best rewards, and cheap entertainment right now!
I will be back to doing my detailed analysis for the Santa Anita meet next month.
In race 9, the #5 Allidoisdreamofyou looks live at a nice price of 8-1. Trainer Ron Elllis wins 36% 1st of the claim and wins 33% off a layoff. Two fast works in a row, one at Santa Anita in July on one on Wednesday could mean go time. In the last race Protor sends a horse with Baze on it while Stevens rides another, the #8 Nashoba’s Candy for trainer Gaines. Big time form in her blood including a Pacific Classic winner.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
