Scratches Update:

Race 5 use Little Curlin

Race 9 use Shes Not Here

What a start to the Del Mar meet with our meager Pick 5 for $36 returning a sweet $1,934! Del Mar is where some of my biggest scores have come and we started the meet off nicely! We got knocked out in the Pick 4 in the 1st leg however. FANTASTIC pools and payouts already at Del Mar and like I said yesterday you absolutely must consider every horse at this meet no matter the price and must have prices in your exotics! Gonzalez is off to a hot start at Del Mar and this is a track where you also must ride hot streaks too so give a look to Gonzalez rides as well! The turf track so far is being dominated by late runners too. Superfectas are paying very nicely so be sure to be doing those bets at this meet!

Best Bets:

None today – longshot shopping but if I had to Vyjack in race 6

Longshots of the Day:

Race 3: Cindy’s Secret – won 2 of last 3,early speed cutting back

Race 5: Toowindytohaulrox – if the top choice falls

Race 7: Chewy Around Town -1st time Irish for Gallagher

Race 8: Champagne Room – bullets for debut

Race 9: Prize Exhibit -monster late kick, added distance, late runners own turf here

Today’s Late Pick 4 will cost $36 with horses listed in preference.

Races 1-6 selections and also for Pick 5, exacta and trifecta boxes

Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.

“The grace of God is found between the saddle and the ground.”
