Only four days of racing left a the Beach and then its break time until the Santa Anita winter meet on Boxing Day. The 1st major rainstorm of the season is hitting San Diego today so it is very likely there will be no turf races. On cards like this I always try to keep tickets very low.

Race 1: Ippodamia’s Girl is 10-1 morning line with Van Dyke riding. I doubt we get that good a price! 1st start in 8 months. Dropping in class, shortening up and racing protected – must use

Race 7: Wilshire Dude, invaded from back East so if it stays on turf he wont care and he already has a win on an off track. Must use in the rain

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
