The bombs were falling yesterday with multiple price horses winning including a ten minute photo finish delay with the favorite Ish and a longshot potentially yielding even bigger payouts and carryovers. That card had chaos written all over it but alas my stabs at some prices came up a little short. Still, with our small ticket sizes we were competitive so all we can ask for is a little racing luck in today’s 9 race card.

Longshots of the Day:
Race 3: Lambo Luxx, won both starts at this level this summer before being walked off, weakened in the last at the $12k level and drops back to $8k for this with a nice weight break for Fuentes who is 29%
Race 4: Bella Be Ready, when Roman rides for Miyadi you pay attention especially at a price for a debut like this.
Race 6: Senator Robert, its all about the speed with this guy and if that speedster shows up today we will start the Pick 4 with a great price, ran 2nd here this summer at the distance, gives us a sharp work, jockey is winless here but 38% for the trainer
Race 7: Shaky Alibi, Bejarano is starting to heat up, cuts back in distance today after weakening late last out, sharp work nice price in a wide open race
Race 9: I’malreadythere, has a 2-1-1 record from 4 starts at this distance and Talamo hops on for Machowsky and they are 40% win and 80% in the money and in a wide open race we get a great price play here

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.
When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
