Only 8 races for today’s card with race 5 ending the Pick 5 and starting the Pick 4. Its a challenging Pick 4 but I have some juicy value plays.
Pick 5 I need a single is in race 2 Tequila Sunrise has the top speed, is dropping in class and Baltas is 30% beaten favorite, 23% dropping to claimers. Only 4 horses in the race so its ALL or single the ⅘ horse.

Longshots of the Day:
Race 1: Lucky Long Legs fell asleep in the gate in the debut last month and was off very slow and late. The horse tracked last then made a very nice move up the rail mid stretch, was cut off, was angled 4 wide then and make a late push. The horse passed other horses, was eager and the race replay looks a lot better than the result. Trainer Sise is outstanding 1st time grass like today, winning 18% for a nice ROI and is also 19% 1st time routing for a profit. This is what this trainer excels at. Roman is quietly having a very good meet winning 23%. 10-1 is excellent value for us.
Race 6: My Friend Emma has blistering early speed in a race devoid of early speed and is 3 of 5 at the distance. Emma has been caught late in the last 3 races going 6 furlongs so today’s cutback looks ideal. 8-1 is great value for a gate to wire win.
Race 7: Very Irish and no not just because of the name! The horse is from a small stable that is 29% on the year and 40% in sprints. A 57 second 5 furlong work Oct 10th jumps off the page and the 15-1 or more morning line is juicy. The horse races protected today so the bullet workouts look great.

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.
When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
