We get an extra day of racing today with Columbus Day, a holiday even schools and banks no longer observe but it gives us another 10 races to handicap and win! The early part of this card is a rolling doubles, key exotics set up. Chalk central. My Pick 5 bet is $8 for the 50c bet so look to push the reprint ticket button a few times!
Pick 4 I need a single is race – none
Pick 5 I need a single is in race 4 Allaboutaction with Prat riding for Miller and they are 39%. Risking for a tag today and Miller is 26% with the top speed in the race. This horse will get claimed so they are here for the purse money. ⅗ morning line and a free spot in a favorites Pick 5 sequence
Longshots of the Day:
Race 7: D D’s Lute finally won last out when Talamo hopped and and we get a sharp work on the class hike. It’s been a favorites card so lets get a price at 12-1 or more
Race 8: Ship of the Line ships in from Keenland off a win last out and the East Coast turfers are much better. Jockey ships in too so they mean business at a nice 6-1 morning line price with a sharp work in tow
Race 9: Croatian, 20-1 morning line for a Baffert horse that won last out with Talamo riding and they are winning 35%. Moving up in class with a sharp work 2 weeks ago and a maintenance work last week. I wouldn’t care if he only had 3 legs, a must use!
Today’s Race 8 Late Pick 4 will cost $36 depending on singles with horses listed in preference.

Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.
For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.
When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.

“Bíonn grásta Dé idir an dialait agus an talamh.”
“The grace of God is found between the saddle and the ground.”
