We took down the Pick 5 yesterday for a decent payoff, lining our pockets for the long weekend of racing. We have an 11 race card to navigate today so let’s get to business and make some coin again today.
Pick 4 I need a single is race – none today longshot shopping
Pick 5 I need a single is in race 5 Ransom the Moon. Considered a match race with Roy H who did the Dubai bounce last out I give the edge again to Ransom. Prat is 50% for D’Amato and we get a sharp work
Longshots of the Day:
Race 6: Poster Girl, the strategy will be simply, gate to wire and that has worked on the Hill thus far. We get a sharp workout and the cutback from routing in the last 2 races should have her super fit at a 10-1 or more price
Race 9: Pyscho Sister ships down from Golden Gate winning the last two at this distance with a sharp workout last week. Trainer is 28% winner last race and 27% for the year but is winless in graded races. Horse appears in top form and although rising in class I love reading “ driving” in the form notes. 20-1 or more price to drive a big payday our way. Also in this race Ohio comes in off a win at Del Mar last out beating Cimpl Man who won yesterday
Race 11: Encanta, Van Dyke is 5 of 8 for this trainer as they try turf for the 1st time with a sharp workout and a nice 8-1 price for the Hillside course. Live at a price
Today’s Race 8 Late Pick 4 will cost $48 with horses listed in preference.
Today’s Early Pick 5 will cost $54 with singles with horses listed in preference
Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.
For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.
When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.

“The grace of God is found between the saddle and the ground.”
