Pick 4 I need a single is in race 5 Forbidden Command and yes this is an $8k claimer, a tough level to single but this horse has won 2 of the last 3, Miyadi is 3 of 9, rail is the place to be on the dirt lately too and Miyadi is 27% claim repeat.

 

Longshots of the Day:

Race 3: Cash Driven, Talamo teams up with Sherman on a horse that hit the bench last July after his debut, Sherman is 20% off the bench and 25% dropping multiple classes. Raced at the $80k level, in for $20k now – they want to get paid!

Race 6: Lemon Crush, 1st race of the year for owner/trainer who is 20% maiden claiming, put in a best of the day work on July 21st

Race 7: Miracle March, Roman rides, only victory was on dirt going this distance, other 2 races on turf were bad. Back to dirt today with the leading jockey and an 8-1 morning line price

Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.

 

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
