We move back to Thursday through Sunday racing and for today we have a nice looking 8 race card. By nice I mean hard and hard usually means $$$!
Value Play of the Day:
Race 8: Navy Queen came off the bench in June under Pyfer at 6fl to run 2nd by a length. In March going 6 half fl under Pyfer this horse came late to miss by half a length. Today they route and the price is right.

Race 2: Road Rager ran in a G2 at Los Al July 5th under this jockey in the 1st start since September. The same tactic was done in February of last year and next out the horse won under Rispoli. In fact Umberto rode 4 races in a row afterwards. We know the tactic today – gate to wire at 8-1.
Race 4: Onenightstandards moves up in class off a win last out in May for Glatt who puts Cedillo on board and they are winning 25% recently. 15-1 looks like a gift for a horse who has 2 wins on turf from 2 starts and is always around the finish line.
Race 5: Island Life gets in super-light with Jessica and the race conditions, 7 pounds under. Wong is in search of his 1st win of the meet and this horse looks like the one at 8-1. Bullet work and trying dirt for the 1st time for a trainer who wins 20%+ on these moves. This race has been won by horses 5-1 to 10-1 29%.
Race 6: Feathers – 1st time Rispoli on the turf. Need I say more? 8-1 oh yes!

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.
When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
