We almost took down a very nice Pick 4 yesterday with our single winning the 1st leg and a big price in the second leg in the race I said we needed to spread in. In race 7 our Ellis/Talamo don’t bet if the son in law is not riding angle worked to a charm yet again as the Ellis fav choked but we got beaten on the line and that was all she wrote. A win in the last race sealed our 3 of 4 day but for an $18 ticket that was great. We were right there!
Prat remains ahead of Roman by one and Talamo is right behind and Bejarano one behind him. Bejarano is back off suspension and remember last year when he missed some racing days at the end he stormed right back in the final days. The closing weekend is going to be just as much about the jockeys as the horses themselves.
Don’t miss the action once the Santa Anita ends! Be sure to sign up for our free plays on our website. I will be emailing out my selections daily. Del Mar is where the large prices hit and where our biggest wins have come including the opening day Pick 5 last summer!

In race 2 Privy comes out for Sadler and in 11 maiden claiming races he has 7 wins 4 seconds. Strictly on stats a clear standout. I do have a price horse I really like in here too though!
Longshots of the Day: Win/place bets on these
Race 2: XXX
Race 6: XXX
Race 7: XXX
Race 9: Touching Rainbows, off the bench after 6 months on the fresh claim by Baltas Pereira rides and they are 38%, D’Amato is 23% off the bench and this horses owns a win at the distance. I doubt we will get this great morning line price! Prat rode both his victories but sticks with the post time fav but if he was riding the morning line would likely be 4-1
Race 10: XXX
Today’s Late Pick 4 will cost $27 with horses listed in preference.
Today’s Pick 5 will cost $24 with horses listed in preference.
8,XXX looking to do superfecta and trifecta box with these. If you want to tighter it up 8,X on top
Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.
For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.
When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
