Pick 5 I need a single is in race 2 Young Hendrick from D’Amato with Garcia riding and they are 29%. Trainer is 28% beaten favorite, 20% 2nd off the layoff. Drops in class today.

Longshots of the Day:
Race 4: Flying Flirt is a workout play. Check the 59 second 4 furlong work June 22 followed by another sharp work last week. Wide open race so I am swinging for a price
Race 8: Saints Paynter is another horse from trainer Andrew Lerner that races protected today. We have done very well with his protected allowance race horses in the last few weeks. Moves from turf to dirt for the second career race and Lerner is winning 33% doing this with a flat bet profit. Dropping in class and racing protected today we also have a sharp work. These are the works I look for as the horse is not risked so the work is legit. 8-1 morning line is a fantastic value and with two Baffert horses racing we could get an even better price.

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.
When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
