We almost doubled our money on the Pick 4 yesterday when it chalked out and paid $21.80 but the bet only cost us $12 so a profit is a profit. The pays continue to vacillate between slightly moderate pays and downright tiny and while this continues we will look to keep our tickets low. Yesterday my single in the early sequence Stop the Violence flew late in the baby race to barely lose and looked the best horse in the race by far, next time running longer and this is a horse to keep an eye on for sure! We have three Hillside races today with the Pick 4 and Pick 5 starting there. Early speed seemed to be holding up very well on the Hill yesterday.

Longshots of the Day: Win/place bets on these
Race 1: Nap Lajoe with Prat at 6-1, tough spot on the Hill but this is the speed of the speed, tries turf for Miyadi and he is 16%, Prat is 2 of 5 for trainer
Race 3: XXX
Race 6: Chatterman, turf in blood, last race on dirt closed from deep to run second, a nice trait for the Hill and although the Hill has been playing to early speed as it dries out it can change
Race 7: XXX
Race 8: XXX
Race 9: XXX

Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.
For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.
When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
