05-12-2017 Santa Anita Free Plays

We have 3 Hillside races today and a card I am looking forward to! There is a nice mix of prices and favorites today that should make for some decent payoffs. We have a baby race in race 2 that I am taking a stand with to keep the ticket on the low end but still giving us a nice mix of price horses.

Possible singles today:

In race Watch Me Now destroyed the field romping to victory 1st off the bench in 8 months winning by 9 going gate to wire. Possibility for a bounce off that effort and there are no listed works since that race 3 weeks ago but gets the bug boy weight break again.

In race 2 XXX

In race 6 Caray for Baltas who is 32% beaten favorite but an even more impressive 4 of 5 or 80% with this jockey riding for him and we get sharp works into this race, also the fav only wins this race 10% but horses under 5-1 win 71%

Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
