We had a great weekend last week with a Pick 4 and Pick 5 win. We have an 8 race card today with modest fields that could chalk out or give some decent pays if a longshot or two comes in. I have structured the tickets to take advantage of both scenarios. Rain is in the forecast today so racing may be impacted. I have not handicapped for rain. Any scratches we will go with the post time favorites or 2nd choice.
New for the Santa Anita meet I am also offering a monthly subscription for 75% off. That’s right for $32 a month you get everything. That’s the cost of 4 race days and you get the other 12 days of racing free a month!
Today’s Full Card is only $8.
Longshots of the Day:
Race 3: Favorite Trip, won her debut on the Hillside course in October which is a very difficult thing to do. Off since for a trainer who is 3% off the bench and 18% winner last race Elliot hops on the ride and we get 10-1 or more. The favorite looks very strong in here but its the Hillside course and we need a price!
Race 6: Pepe Tono acted like today’s distance could be perfect in the last, trainer is 32% 1st at route on the stretch-out, Roman’s weight break and a big price
Race 8: Bronzino, cuts back after a win last out and will employ the same tactics, gun and try to hold on. Trainer is 23% claim repeater, 21% shipping both with positive ROI
Today’s Late Pick 4 will cost $45 with horses listed in preference.
Today’s Pick 5 will cost $36 with horses listed in preference
Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.
For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.
When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.

“The grace of God is found between the saddle and the ground.”
