01-11-2018 Santa Anita Full Card

The Pick 4 today has two mid sequence Hillside course loaded with first-timers making it a tough handicap. Rain in in the forecast for the next two days so I am unlikely to do cards as the off tracks have been near impossible of late.

Pick 4 I need a single is race 8 Mo See Cal who should blow these horses away looking for the 4th win in a row, moving up in class a free spot in the Pick 4 and Pick 5

Pick 5 I need a single is race 5 Little Scotty dropping multiple classes for a trainer winning 21% on this, has the top speed. shortens up and loves this race track with a 2-1 from 3 race record

Longshots of the Day:

Race 4: Minute Mile 1st time Irish from Gallagher 1st start in a year and tries turf for the 1st time with turf in the bloodlines. I always bet these and the price is nice

Race 7: Boa Nova the other 1st time Irish horse (3 in this race) we get 12-1 for trainer Meah who is so overdue to hit a big one at this meet and 1st time Lasix. This horse raced at Royal Ascot and some big meets in the UK meaning big time class

Today’s Race 6 Late Pick 4 will cost $22.50 depending on singles with horses listed in preference.

Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.

Irish horse racing saying –

“Bíonn grásta Dé idir an dialait agus an talamh.”

“The grace of God is found between the saddle and the ground.”
