11-19-2017 Del Mar Full Card

I am back from a nice vacation and ready to take down some wins today. Last Sunday if you did the $72 Pick 5 you made a handsome $1,614. My Pick 4 selection ran 3 of 4 too. Not too shabby! We have 9 races on the card today and this is a very nice looking sequence with some great longshot potentials. Miller is dominating the trainer standings with a 33% win rate and 65% in the money. Prat is atop the jockey standing, 3 wins ahead of Roman with a 40% ITM. Keep an eye on Bejarano as he looks ready to heat up and note heis getting more mounts now.

Today’s Full Card is only $8.

Pick 4 I need a single:

None today I am longshot shopping!

Longshots of the Day:

Race 2: Clickjab, last raced August 2016 and races here as the only protected horse, won that last race, moving up in class, I believe this horse was placed perfectly here to pay the bills with a win at a nice price!

Race 5: Dad’s A Gambler, ships down after a third last out and picks up Bejarano, trainer is 23% off a layoff, shortens up and this combo has hit on a longshot at the meet already

Race 7: A Little Bit Me, 1st time Irish shipper I am always using, adds Lasix and a perfect 8-1 morning line price

Today’s Late Pick 4 will cost $18 with horses listed in preference.

Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
