06-30-2017 Santa Anita Free Plays

We have five days of racing left at Santa Anita before heading to Los Al and then the summer meet at Del Mar. Let’s see if we can pad the bankrolls in the coming days! Today’s card is an eight race one with race 5 overlapping both sequences. The Pick 4, if it does not chalk out, looks like it could pay rather nicely! The jockey title is a tight one with Prat leading by one, rookie Roman next and Talamo and Bejarano right there too. Watch all mounts these jockeys ride this weekend. In race 7 I am not betting on the paper fav Social Taboo because its a recent Ron Ellis claim who Bejarano rode last time out but he is on suspension and Talamo does not ride. I am looking to beat him on that angle that worked for us last week. I found the 6th race to be a tough race to handicap with many having a legit shot. I have taken a stand in a number of races today but feel free to add extra coverage. I am looking for a nice payday today!

Don’t miss the action once the Santa Anita ends! Be sure to sign up for our free plays on our website. I will be emailing out my selections daily. Del Mar is where the large prices hit and where our biggest wins have come including the opening day Pick 5 last summer!

Possible singles today:

I am looking at a double to end the Pick 5 sequence today. In race 4 Best Two Minutes with Prat riding moves up in class off an easy win last out and should repeat in this race today. In race 5 Show It N Moe It stretches out to 5 furlongs and picks up Roman after a second last out. This is a race where you could do all or single – I am singling.

Horses listed in brackets are for added coverage if wanted and for exotics.

For races where I only have one or two selections I usually like to KEY the top choice  with the second choice and an outside for trifectas.

When I have three horses selected in a Pick 4 or Pick 5 consider them for Trifecta boxes and for superfecta boxes use the 3 selections with the highest priced horse with good form or top tier jockeys riding, especially if they give a price. Rolling Pick 3 and doubles using selections.
